Are there any Remote Desktop tuneables in Display Fusion? I'm running in a VDI environment and the ptocess is constantly at 8-10% CPU
I found that disabling the titlebar button reduced this to 6-8% CPU, are there any other options? Disabling application hooks didn't have an effect

That's a bit high for sure, interesting that disabling the hooks didn't make any difference. Could you send me a debug log?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Use the machine normally for a few minutes
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Thanks! If you disable the Multi-Monitor Taskbar feature, does the CPU usage drop? (this isn't a solution, just a troubleshooting step)

Yes, disabing drops down to 1-4% CPU
Re-enabling returns to 3-6%

It's not so bad now after restarting my system and disabling all features of the multi monitor task bar buttons other than the icons (start button, systray, show desktop button). 4% CPU is not ideal but not as worrying

Ok, that sounds pretty reasonable then, glad to hear you were able to get it sorted out.

Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.

Thanks!
