I just did the 10.0 update. It has caused a problem with an older 32bit program I use daily. How do I "completely" uninstall the update and reset all back to before the update. This is urgent.

Keith,
Yes, that is what I did last night. I had to try something. My concern was if the .NET Framework (64) that was installed with the 10.0 update was installed across all of the Windows apps. Apparently it wasn't. I did a "uninstall" of the program (keeping my settings), then I found the download for the previous 9.9 version. I installed that version, and all worked well. The program that it was causing the problem with, was an old Norton File Manager program. This was well before Norton became a security type thing. (Which I don't use because it takes over your computer) The Norton file manager was a better file manager than anything included with Windows today. I use Windows 10 now. I had Windows 11, and it was/is still too buggy for my liking, so I went back to Win10. Thanks again..........

I've been using DisplayFusion for wallpaper management, (but not the taskbar tool), also I've been using MultiMonitor Taskbar for a long time, with no conflict.
I DL'ed the latest DisplayFusion, and now I am seeing an extra "task" of "df" for each Open window (any program) that I have on my second monitor. The extra "task" doesn't Do anything, and goes away if I minimize the relevant window, and reappears when I re-open that window,
example 2 Open windows: https://www.screencast.com/t/QwsfVf2xbO3
same 2 windows minimized: https://www.screencast.com/t/1AGVG3lTCRH
FYI, not sure which program is more "to blame", so I'm sending this message to both companies. Hopefully someone will work it out.
@m5rammy: Do you have titlebar buttons enabled in DisplayFusion? If so, could you try disabling them (Settings > Functions tab) and let me know if that makes those extra taskbar entries go away?

Hi Keith
Since I have updated DisplayFusion to version 10.0, the taskbars are flickering a lot (they appear shortly and disappear each few seconds).
I use it on Windows 10 Pro and the taskbars are on Auto-Hide.
I installed today the version 9.9 on top of 10.0 and the issue is solved.
Do you need some logs in order to check it better and fix it in the next versions?
Thanks in advance
Gianpiero

@pgianpy: If you could try updating to 10.0.1 Beta 1, that would be great! If it still happens there, could you send us a debug log?
- On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
- Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
- Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
- Reply with the file attached
- Disable debug logging after sending the log
Hi Keith
Thank you for your answer.
With 10.1 Beta version it happens as well.
I did what you have requested. Additionally I have uploaded a video of the issue (showing the low part of 3 screens).
I didn't notice before but now I realized that the issue only happens on my Citrix Remote Session (that I use for work, 5 days at week). All other windows, applications and screens are OK (I have a total of 7 screens, and I usually use 6 of them for the Citrix connection).
Let me know if I can do more to show and explain the issue.

Ever since a recent update, and not resolved by updating the current version (Pro 10.0), I find that when I click the Windows Start button on the secondary monitor that the Start Menu appears (momentarily) and then vanishes. This is consistent. Therefore I have to hit the Windows Start button on the primary monitor if I need to start a program.
I shouild note that I am using "classic shell" which restores the start menu to an old layout. Debug info attached.
Anyone else seeing this?

@pgianpy: We've just released 10.0.1 Beta 2. Could you give it a try and let us know how it works out?
Thanks!

@PhiVdW420518: Thanks! We've found out that the reason it doesn't work is that VirtualBox is preventing us from hooking it because our new code-signing cert is 384 bit, and they only allow hooking if it's 256 bit. We're going to report that to them and hopefully they'll get that fixed up for a future version.

I tried the 10.0 update but found one issue so far. I like to use the Photo Screen Saver and the setting 'Show images in a random postion' on my 49" super wide screen. With this setting enabled, the images are always displayed centered. I reverted back to version 9.9 and this feature works again.
@John Muhar: Could you attach a screenshot of the Photos screen saver settings? I'd like to see what the other options are set to in addition to the random position setting.
Thanks!

Thanks! We made it always centre if the size mode is set to "fit best." You want it to still fit width or height, and but then still show in a random position horizontally or vertically?

These are the same settings that I was using for version 9.9 and it honored the random location setting.
Ok, thanks for confirming. We had to make that change to fix another bug and didn't figure people were using it that way anyway. We've put this on our list to see if we can make it work the old way without affecting the other fix.

Excellent. I hope you can bring this back. It's a nice feature to have when you have a big monitor.
