Dear gentlemen, my second monitor flickers and cuts the display on left hand side or it remains completely black frequently. See enclosed DisplaFusioDebugInfo 2019-10-11.zip. What is the reason?
Regards Wolfgang

Could you send a full debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • The next time the issue occurs, note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Thanks! Unfortunately it doesn't look like debug logging got enabled. Can you make sure to click Apply after changing the logging level to L1?

Thanks!

Got it, thanks! Did the screen flicker happen shortly before you attached this log file?

2. Monitor is flickering all the time, so also before I attached the log file; sometimes it falls out, sometimes it cuts the picture, sometimes it is stable.
Further information I can give only after 4 November 2019, as I am on travel now.

Ok, no worries. Is the second monitor connected via a USB adapter or USB docking station?

The second monitor is connected to the graphic card via HDMI.

Ok, are you able to try a different HDMI cable? Usually when there are issues with monitors flickering or going blank, it's either the cable, or an issue with the monitor itself.

Dear Mr. Lammers,
thank you for the response. Finally it turned out, that the HDMI cable was not connected securely to the monitor. After using the related screws, the problems disappeared in space.
Thanks for your professional help.
Regards
Wolfgang
