Hello I am wondering I am having trouble connecting my home monitor which is an HP pavilion 21 to my work laptop which is a dell. My home monitor does not have any vga or hdmi connection just usb so I bought an adaptor usb to hdmi I ran the software on my home computer not sure if I was supposed to ran on my work laptop but my work laptop does have high security so I cannot just run software on it. So I tried adding this adapter and I don't see my laptop screen showing on my main home monitor does anyone have any ideas of what I could do or if I am doing something wrong. Would appreciate the help.
