3.4.1 had crashed on me a few times since upgrading earlier today. I was previously running the latest beta version before upgrading to 3.4.1 and never had any crashes with any of the betas, only with the release version. I'm not sure what information you need to help diagnose the issue. I haven't figured out a cause for when it crashes, it just seems to be I click on one of the buttons in the taskbar and it gives me a message that the process is not responding and can be killed or wait for it to complete.

Please let me know what information I can give that will help resolve the issue. Thanks,

Bob

Could you post or email (support@displayfusion.com) the info from the Troubleshooting tab in DisplayFusion?

Also, do you happen to have a Microsoft keyboard or mouse with the IntelliType/IntelliPoint software installed? Some other customers have reported crashes when that software is also installed.

Thanks!

The troubleshooting file has been emailed in. I do have a Microsoft keyboard (MS Natural ergonomic keyboard 4000) and have the Microsoft Keyboard software installed, but I do not believe I have intellitype or intellipoint software (unless thats the old name for the Microsoft Keyboard software).

Anyways, as stated in the post, this was not happening in any of the beta versions, but has happened a few times with the 3.4.1.

Ok yeah, IntelliType and the Microsoft Keyboard software I believe are the same. Would you be able to try uninstalling the Microsoft Keyboard software as a test, just to rule it out?

Thanks!

Looks like you were right, after I went into Add/Remove programs. I have uninstalled Microsoft Intellitype Pro 8.2. I'll let you know if I have any additional crashes.

Just to give an update, it hasn't crashed since uninstalling Intellitype. I don't think I need Intellitype installed for any reason, so I will likely just leave it uninstalled.

Awesome, thanks for the update Bob! Unfortunately, there just seems to be some sort of incompatibility between DisplayFusion and the Microsoft Keyboard software (IntelliType) on some systems. I have the software on a few systems here and haven't had any issues, but a couple of other customers have reported similar issues.
