I'm getting 407 proxy errors when checking for updates or attempting to connect to Flickr. However, I've set Display Fusion to use a direct connection.

Furthermore, my web browsers successfully connect when using a direct connection.

I'm using Display Fusion 1.4.2 and WinXP Pro SP2.

Very strange. Are you going through any kind of transparent proxy? Also, make sure that you don't have the "Use these proxy settings..." checkbox checked. Does this problem happen on a corporate network or at home?

I'm not sure if I'm going through a transparent proxy. It's possible. It happens on a corporate network. The "Use these proxy settings" box is unchecked.

I would contact your network administrator and see if you do need to specify any proxy settings. It sounds like your traffic is being filtered or blocked somewhere on your corporate network.
