Since 9.0 Beta (not sure which one, but I'm on Beta 3), DisplayFusion.exe is constantly using about 3% CPU, but sometimes as high as 10-15%.

Windows 10 x64, 32GB RAM, i5 7600K

Do I need to know anything before downgrading to latest version 8?

That's strange! No special steps needed before rolling back to 8.1.2, just install it over top of the beta. Can you post an update after you've rolled back to let me know if the CPU usage issue goes away?

Downgraded to 8.1.2 on 2 machines. Will monitor and report.

Not an issue with beta 9, as with 8.1.2, issue still occurs. Constantly uses about 4%.

Ok, 1-3% is pretty normal due to the background polling we need to do to keep everything operational. The 10-15% is a bit more concerning. When that happens, does it go up to 10-15% and stay there, or does it just blip for a second or two?

Any application that is constantly averaging 1% or more is a concern to me. Is there any way to reduce that polling (features that I can disable)?

The spikes are usually more like 7%-10%, and usually last for 15-30 seconds (best guess, I'm just eyeballing here with System Explorer).

Not at the moment, no, but we are planning some changes that should reduce the background polling a bit, so we'll definitely let you know when we've done that so that you can re-test.
