I'm running 9.5 DF Pro. The Update Available dialog displays offering 9.6 (Beta 4). I press Install Now and it downloads. Displayfusion quits. Then... nothing happens. After waiting 5 minutes, I start it from the Start Menu and about three minutes later, the Update Available dialog re-displays.
Don't know how to help troubleshoot this for you. Provide info and I will try.

Probably not different then the one I sent for my other problem report, but here it exported anew.

BTW, as requested by you on another thread, the manual install of the Beta worked. Hope the troubleshooting helps solve the in-program install.

Same issue going from Beta 4 to Beta 5. The Pro install dialog offers to let me install, it downloads, closes DF, then nothing happens. I have to start DF manually, and a minute later I am offered the update again.
After the auto-updater exits, do you get a UAC prompt at all?
Strange! Seems like it's failing to launch the installer after it's downloaded it. What anti-virus software are you running?

Symantec Endpoint Protection
Version 14 build 1904 (14.0.1904.0000)
If you disable that temporarily and then run the updater again, does it make any difference at all?

The new beta showed up. I tried using the Install Now button; it, of course failed. I restarted DF. The new beta showed up. I disabled by Symmantec Endpoint Protection and tried using the Install Now button; it, of course, installed cleanly. Guess Symmantec has it out for DF.
Need anything more from me on this one?

Good News! 9.6.1 and subsequent beta both installed fine with the Install Now button. Probably a problem with signatures and Symmantec may have fixed it... or maybe you did? Anyway, it's good now.

That's great! We have made a change in 9.6.2 Beta 1, so it wouldn't have affected the current updates. If you run into trouble updating when 9.6.2 Beta 2 is released, please let us know.
Thanks!
