I am unable to set my Lock Screen Wallpaper to use images from WallpaperFusion or any other online platform.

The "Use these settings" button is not present like it is for Desktop Wallpaper.

This issue also occured on 9.6.1, and while I didn't specifically read anything in change notes regarding Lock Screen, I hoped the Beta for 9.7 might have fixed it.

Could you send us a debug log for this issue?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Try applying the Lock Screen settings
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Here's the log file and also a screenshot showing the lack of "Save current settings" button.

Ah yep, that's because the "Use Settings" button is only for the wallpaper slideshow, but the Lock Screen doesn't support slideshow mode. If you click on one of the images in the WallpaperFusion window for the Lock Screen, you can choose "Load Image."

I also noticed in the troubleshooting info that the DisplayFusionService Windows service doesn't appear to be running. Could you try running this at an elevated command prompt and then send me a new debug log?

net start DisplayFusionService

It's already running. But here's the log again anyway.

Thanks! Did it still fail to set the lock screen after doing the "Load image" and applying the settings?
