Hi,

In 9.7.2b6, the mouse cursor started to jump around erratically. The problem is most prominent when trying to move the cursor from the topright corner of a dispaly to the one to the right to it, even more so if an (any) maximized application is open on the first one (with the min/max/close buttons in the corner when the mouse is being dragged from).
This problem was not present in 9.7.2b5, confirmed by rolling back and reinstalling both versions multiple times.

Hello,

Could you send me over a video of the issue happening?

Thanks!

Hello,

Here it is.
Not sure it can be seen very clearly when you don't see my hand on the mouse but I was only moving it back and forth and I can see the cursor jumping back and sticking in place a few times.

Hope this helps.

I started experiencing this issue after the recent beta update as well. It occurs only in the corners where other monitors meet.

Hello,

Thanks for sending that video over. Do you have "Wrap mouse cursor around left/right monitor edges" enabled in the Mouse management settings in DisplayFusion? If you do, does the issue persist if you disable that?

Thanks!

I do not have that enabled. I tried enabling it just to check and the behavior is the same either way.

The setting "Prevent mouse cursor from sticking in Sticky Corners" may have something to do with it. Normally I have that enabled but when it is disabled the issue goes away.

Hi,

I don't have that option enabled either.

Getting the same problem here in most recent beta.

Hello,

Thanks for confirming that. I was able to reproduce the issue on my end, so I've added it to our list to fix up. We'll be sure to let you know if we have any news on it in the future.

Thanks!

Hello,

I just tested beta7 and according to the release notes, this should be fixed but it's still happening. Exactly the way it did in beta6.

Hello,

Strange, is that happening with "Prevent mouse cursor from sticking in Sticky Corners" enabled?

Thanks!

Hello,

Yes it is enabled. I always had it enabled and the problem was not present ever before beta6 (and of course now I had to revert to beta5, the option is enabled and it's working fine).

Hello,

Could you send me over a backup of your settings? You can grab them in the options tab of the DisplayFusion settings window with the "Export Settings" Button.

Thanks!

I want to note that 9.7.2b7 resolved the issue for me. I had the setting disabled prior to the update, perhaps doing the same (or rebooting after the update) would be a good to try.

I tried reboot and it did not change. And I don't want to disable this feature because sticky corners drive me crazy.

I'm realizing after a few hours that I was wrong and it isn't working 100% of the time.

It seems to be limited to a single corner, and occurs maybe 10% of the time if I'm trying to replicate it. However with a fullscreen game running (that locks the cursor to a single monitor) it can be replicated every time I mouse to that corner.

Hello,

This issue should be fixed up in the latest beta, available here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta. Please let me know if you still run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
