I have a fairly long run (~20ft) to my racing sim setup, where I have my triplescreens. Two of the monitors are connected with 25ft "Active" DisplayPort cables (link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XSDZGT2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 while the third is using an HDMI cable.

The only issue I've been having is the 2 x Active DisplayPort cables/monitors effectively "time out" to Windows (or DisplayFusion?) after some time of not using them. I guess my question is if there is any keep-alive logic that could prevent this from happening? My current fix is that I have to phsyicallly unplug these two cables from my graphics card, then plug them back in...and then move over to my Triplescreen config.

Appreciate any info/ideas. I've attached a screenshot of how the monitors show up when they have "timed out". They start to show up as 640x480 60hz screens instead of the proper 1440 @ 120hz.

The higher the resoltuion the more power it needs to do the conversion, I wonder if it's drawing too much power and that's why the resolution is dropping too when it fails? You can try running it with a lower resolution and see if it ever times out.

DisplayFusion grabs the monitor info from Windows, it shouldn't really be affecting anything here, so I don't think there's much we can do from our end unfortunately.

Sorry!
