If you select "Shift" while dragging a non-maximized window, it will drag it non-maximized. I'd love it if we could change this button. I have a mouse key bound to "CTRL" and used to use this when using FancyZones to prevent the same thing. A custom button option would be nice.
This is currently on our feature request list, so I've added your vote to it. We'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in the future.
