I am trying the product, and it looks nice overall, but there is one feature I would consider a deal breaker.
While Display Fusion taskbars have a thumbnail preview, like the Vista taskbar, they do not seem to show the preview window using Aero Peek like the Windows 7 taskbar (image file attached).
I read a forum posting which I took to mean it was included (which prompted me to download the trial), but alas, I don't see it. Will such a feature be included in an upcoming realease?
Thanks,
Steve...

The Window Peek is available for purchased (Pro) version of the application. Please see http://www.binaryfortress.com/displayfusion/compare/ for a more detailed comparison list between DF Free and DF Pro.

John,
Hmmm, I must not have been clear.
I am running the 30 day trial license, which according to the web site, is fully functional. I see the thumbnail above the taskbar icon, but if I hover over the thumbnail, it does not show the full size window, as the Windows 7 taskbar icons do.

John,
Actually, moving the mouse to hover over the thumbnail, causes the thumbnail to disappear, so hovering over it is not even possible.

Steve I will log this issue - also can you attempt to upload the screen shot again? it didn't seem to work in your first post.
Thanks

Andrew,
Sure, I will add a RAR file here with 3 images. 1 showing the Windows 7 taskbar with thumbnails, 1 showing the Windows 7 taskbar with the full size preview, and 1 showing the Display Fusion taskbar with a thumbnail. I can't hover over the Display fusion thumbnail or see a full size preview, as it is only viewable when hovering over the taskbar icon itself. I captured it with Snaggit.

My apologies, I see what you mean now. And, yes, that is the way it is in my display right now (still on Beta 115 as I have yet to DL and install the brand spanking new ver 3.1....

Andrew,
As an added comment. I spoke with a friend today who used UltraMon. He looked at Display Fusion when I told him about it. He commented, and I totally agree with him, that neither product replicates the stacked icon pardigm Windows 7 offers. While I like the smart taskbars on independant monitrors, and most of the time ISVs offer nice improvments to Windows, this is one time when this user thinks Microsoft got it right.
The full screen Preview and stacked icons, are truly major advances to the GUI. I'd suggest that implementing these features should be at the top of your list.
