Hi:

I'm running DisplayFusion Pro 3.1.6 on Win 7-64, with two monitors. Mostly, I think it is a terrific piece of software, and I'm very pleased to have it running.

One small problem, though, and I hope I didn't just miss the answer when I searched the forum. I am using a source file of about 600 photos from my HDD, set like a slideshow to display every 0.2 minutes (12 seconds). I have chosen "Randomly change using images from my computer" and I have selected "Show images in alphabetical order". However, it seems that, although the images may indeed be shown in alphabetical order, the usual "random selection" problem applies.

In other words, some images come up regularly, and some never seem to come up.

Is this a bug or perhaps a misconception on my part? I was hoping that "Show images in alphabetical order" would simply do that, cycle through each and every image.

Thanks in advance for your response.

it definitely should. The only thing I can think of is the file formats.. Are they all the same? DF and windows only supports certain formats for wallpapers... and that's the only thing I can think of. If you notice which ones are missing, can you take a SS of your images folder and let us know which ones are skipped?

Hi Kevin:

They are all JPG, sized to fit an 800x800 envelope.

I'll try to track which ones are skipped.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Hi All:

Finally found a spare hour, and did the following.

Used a viewer (ACDSee Pro3) to open the pix' folder, set to view thumbnails and sort in alphabetic order on screen 1.

Watched the pix come up via Display Fusion on screen 2.

Compared the two.

All is well -- it was just me being distracted, and not particularly careful in my observations.
