Many times I can tell from the thumbnail or title of a window, that I just want to close it, and then it is really handy that I can just press the X and it closes while keeping the alt-tab handler open.

The normal Windows alt-tab handler has this feature. Is there an option to add a close button to the thumbnail in the DF alt-tab handler?

Hello,

We do have this open as a feature request, so I've added your vote to it. We'll be sure to let you know if we have any news on it in the future.

Thanks!

I also need this so that I can quickly close a few programs through ALT-TAB. It should improve user experience by adding close button. For the UI, I hope the latest DF will also conform the Windows 11 Fluent UI design.

I would like to back this request as well. Just got on the trial version and realized that this feature was missing. I thought I had the wrong settings until I discovered this posts, and that others would like to have this feature too. Hopefully more people can back this up!

Has this feature been added yet? I use it all the time and just doing some due diligene beforehand - would not purchase a product that blocks me from using it. As a prospective customer, please add my vote for this feature if it has not already been added. Thank you!

@Canucklehead: Not yet. You can use DisplayFusion with the Alt+Tab Handler disabled, but you may need to set the Taskbar Mode to "Windows taskbar shows all windows" if you find that the Windows Alt+Tab Handler is missing some windows when the DisplayFusion taskbar is enabled.
