I just upgraded my work PC from 5.xx to 6.02 or something beta and the ALT-TAB handler was switched to the new one (which I originally suggested and completely regret but... anyhow)
Is this default behaviour? I recommend against this, I had to hunt about the menus to find how to switch it back to the Windows default one.

Next question:
My forums account does not have my key bound to it, they are seperate, if someone joins these for me, does this mean any further posts on the DF forums will include my billing name rather than the name I'm using on the forums? I'd rather keep my obviously somewhat anonymous forum name.

Also, can I export all settings in the program (hotkeys, taskbar opacity, window snapping pixel width, taskbar preferences etc) to an INI / CFG file (or DF account?) and import it into my program from work / home?
I have a different monitor config (2 vs 4) but the other settings I'd like the same.

Thanks for your time as usual.

Which version of Windows are you running? It should only be enabled by default in Windows 8. We did that, because Windows 8 doesn't show programs in Alt-Tab if they don't have a button on the Windows taskbar (i.e. if they're on a different monitor, and the taskbars are set to all show relevant). The only way we could fix it up was to write our own Alt-Tab Handler.

We can merge the two accounts, and your forums alias will still be separate from your billing name. Just drop us a line via the contact form (http://www.displayfusion.com/Support/#contact) and let us know the old and new email address, and I'll merge them.

To export all of your settings, you can use the "Export Settings" button on the Settings > Options tab. You can then restore them using the "Restore Settings" button, and choosing the file created from the Export function.

Hope that helps!

We're running Windows 7 64bit actually? I mean maybe it's a bug or just a mistake or something - just double check it's not default, it might bug some users maybe?
I wish the ALT Tab handler worked identically to the MS one in every single way - just across all monitors but you know - not much you can do. I'm not kidding when I say I'd probably notice anything over 25ms though. It's kinda crazy how often I use it.

I will contact regarding the email address / account license - be easier if I can just log in.

Thanks for other information - ta.

NOTE:
You can export settings but it appears to be ALL settings - it'd be nice if we could have a tickbox of what settings we're exporting

I'd like to export as I said earlier, all but the monitor config - so you know taskbar opacity, taskbar button configuration, snap distance for boxes etc
Mind you, it's not a huge priority of course - so thanks for the hard work regardless, it is appreciated and I'm sure I'd be fine without the feature.

Ah, gotcha. If we're able to implement a selective backup in the future, we'll definitely let you know. In the meantime, you can edit the exported .reg file in Notepad and remove the MonitorConfig section. Hope that helps :)
