I have a hotkey set to "Prevent Window Deactivation". That part works great. If I alt-tab though every other window on the other monitors is minimized.

This is on Windows 8 (haven't upgraded to 8.1 yet) and the latest Beta Version. The title bar says it is 5.1.1.

It's not a huge issue, and if I use the Windows key it doesn't minimize anything so I've gotten in the habit of doing that. Just wanted to see if it was a known bug or if I'm doing something weird.

Thanks

I haven't run into that one before, but there might not be much we can do about it. I'll certainly look into it though, just in case there is something we can do.
  • Does it happen with all games?
  • Do you use the DisplayFusion Alt-Tab Handler (Advanced Settings)?
  • Do all of the programs minimize as soon as you press Alt-Tab, or only when switch to each one?

No, it's not all games. Was doing some testing before I replied. It mainly affect Final Fantasy XIV.

I do not use the Alt-Tab handler advanced setting. It's still set to use Windows.

It's an immediate minimize. All open windows minimize until I reactivate the game. Again, not a huge issue and I've learned to just use the Windows key on the keyboard to free the mouse.

Ok, strange! Unfortunately I don't have FFXIV here to test with. I tested with Payday 2 and didn't run into the issue. If you come across another game that does it, please let me know and I'll see if I have a copy here to test with :)

Thanks!
