Anyone else notice v7.0.0, Beta 5 is almost unusable with ALT+TAB combo to app switch because of massive lag.

I know I'm fast with keys, but a few milliseconds delay means I can't use this version and rolled back to stable 6.x
Unless you're slow with using those keys you'd might not notice.
I hope it's sorted, the main reason I found DisplayFusion was because of this very problem with competitor software.

Awesome software otherwise.

Could you send me a screenshot of your Settings > Window Management tab? Just want to set mine up the same way to see if I can reproduce the performance issues.

Thanks!

Hi, well I've only got 6.1.2 installed now of course, but with the same settings.

Note: this only happens if you're fast on the keyboard, I'm super-fast - that's to say I'm pressing both ALT+TAB in less than a second, stabbing the keys fast which has worked that way since Windows 3!
7b5 seemed to introduce lag, less than a second but it meant I had to do ALT+TAB slowly, and as I mentioned I migrated to DisplayFusion from a competitor because of this very reason and must say DisplayFusion is an awesome product!

regards.

Could you try 7.0 Beta 4 again, to see if it broke between Beta 4 and 5? Here's the link: http://www.binaryfortress.com/Files/DisplayFusion/DisplayFusionSetup-7.0.0-Beta4.exe

OK, so I installed 7.0 Beta4 and it worked perfectly.
out of interest, I tried Beta 5 once more, and still worked perfectly. Tried a reboot to confirm.
So no fault found now :D

Previously I'd re-installed Beta 5 twice to try and resolve, maybe the uninstall or rolling back cleared a glitch I had.

Sorry to start this thread which could have been simply a rare glitch on installation.
All the best.
