There isn't anything out of the ordinary in the log. Does it make any difference as to which programs are running, and how many? Or is it just always slow, regardless?

I'm usually running maybe 5 programs (that appear on the Alt+Tab Handler) at once. Those include Steam, World of Warcraft, Dolby Axon, foobar2000 and Google Chrome. I fix the slowing down by restarting but it gets unbearably slow towards the end of each day, so I have to keep restarting.
I tried disabling the DisplayFusion handler to see if it's just my computer slowing down, but the Windows one is instant, but slows down the moment I enable DisplayFusion.
Ok, interesting that it slows down over time. When you say that restarting fixes it, are you restarting DisplayFusion, or the whole computer?

The whole computer. Restarting DisplayFusion doesn't have any effect
Ok, strange that just a DisplayFusion restart doesn't fix it up. When it starts to slow down, is the memory/CPU usage for DisplayFusion.exe or Explorer.exe high at all?

I am seeing a similar issue - Alt-Tab window is very slow (a few seconds) to appear.
With Alt-Tab handler disabled, speed is fast. Turning off show window text and show desktop window doesn't speed it up.
Since I primarily use Alt-Tab to pop to the next window, I have disabled it for now.

NetMage- how do you disable the Alt Tab handler?
@Peter and NetMage, which versions of Windows are you running on? My Alt+Tab Handler is instant on my main and test machines I have here.

Mine also is slow, and I'm wondering if my difference is theirs. I run my windows 7 in as cut-down a visual style as possible. No Aero, no nothing. Looks like win2k, basically. Maybe try setting up a box or a VM and doing that to an instance of win7.
@NetMage and Peter, are you also running the Windows Classic theme?

Hi Keith- Im running Win 7 64bit and Windows Classic theme. If it matters, I have the following enabled/disabled per graphics: http://prntscr.com/7pwdit

Thanks for the update, Keith! If nothing else, could they detect basic mode and let the previews fill asynchronously? Might be a decent/easy stopgap, depending on the code structure.

That must be my issue as well - I am not intentionally running Classic/Basic, but Win7 periodically complains about (graphics?) memory and drops me into basic mode. Hoping my new PC won't have the issue. Seems to have appeared with an nVidia update.
