I'm not sure if it's related to the changes made for the other issue I reported (http://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/alttab-usability-pointer-position/?ID=91762ad9-8d23-48c3-aa33-96b45b19fe1d), but clicking an item in the Alt+Tab switcher doesn't select that window. It only closes the switcher.
I can't remember if this worked in previous betas or not.
The mouse click seems to be working for me. I'm just pressing Alt+Tab, holding Alt, and then clicking an item in the Alt+Tab window. Did I miss any steps to reproduce this issue?

Aha! Try it on a monitor other than the primary monitor. I have 3 and it only works on the primary.

You sure? I see no difference. Clicking in the Alt+Tab switcher only works on the primary monitor with 6.1 still.
It fixed it for me, but it's a timing issue, so we may need to tweak it a little bit. I'll re-open the ticket and we'll make another change to it.

Thanks. I have never gotten it to work, so it must be some obscure timing.

This appears to finally be working properly in 6.1.1.
Awesome, glad to hear it!

I lie. It works sometimes, but not other times. I'm using 7.0b1.
Ok, would you be able to send a new debug log from 7.0 Beta 1 after reproducing the issue?

Here you go. Tried to click on the DF Settings window and it didn't activate.

I'm already giving it a try. So far so good, but it's only been a short time. I'll post back in a few days.
I notice that the switcher displays really quickly on my primary monitor, but quite slowly (I can almost see each icon paint) on my other monitors. Is this new, or have I just not noticed it before?

This actually slows down Alt+Tab. If I press Alt+Tab a few times quickly, there's a hesitation moving between items 2 and 3, as the other switchers finish painting.

Glad it's not just me! It's odd. I would think that since it's painted quickly once, it would be quick to paint it a second time. But that's without knowing the code, of course.

I've had to turn this feature off for now. It's just too slow and ends up interrupting my flow.

Heh. And now it's back on. You know what's messed up? If I show the window text, things appear almost instantly. It's only when the option to show the window text is off that the slowness crops up.
This should hopefully be all fixed up now in 7.0 Beta 6. Could you give it a try and let me know if you still run into issues?
Thanks!

So far, it seems a lot faster. Only issue I see is that icon-only view uses the small icon for IE 11, so it appears fuzzy. But that's a separate issue.

It looks better now, but if I see it again I will attach screenshots here.

Rebooted this morning and it's back. This is IE11.

Interesting! I still can't reproduce it after several reboots. Did it happen right after booting up? Also, if you restart DisplayFusion, does that fix it temporarily, or is it still an issue right after restarting DisplayFusion?

I can't find a way to reproduce it, either. But killing and restarting DF made the proper icon appear.
Perhaps it's a timing issue on startup.
Yeah, that's strange! Do you open Internet Explorer immediately on startup?

I open it manually from an icon pinned to a DF taskbar, usually in the first few minutes after starting up.
Ok, we've added more Alt+Tab logging that should show us where it's pulling the icon from. Could you enable L1 logging, then send over a new debug log and troubleshooting info the next time this happens?
