Hi I am trying to figure out how to always open up Fortnite in full screen mode on my gaming monitor, can you please help?

Fortnite always must open after launching the “Epic Games Launcher” app. I have 4 monitors, one is the gaming monitor and one is a touch screen monitor. I’ve set the touch screen monitor to be the ‘primary monitor because that was the only way that I could get the touch screen to work when I first set it up (I think). Now whenever I open up epic games launcher, even if it opens on the gaming monitor, it always opens fortnite in full screen on the touch screen monitor, which requires me to manaually move it to the gaming monitor.

How can I make it so that Fortnite always opens in full screen mode on my gaming monitor?

Thanks!

Also, I'm trying to figure out the best way to make my computer automatically lock the mouse on the fortnite screen/monitor whenever i'm playing it in full screen mode (with the only way to get out of the screen being something like hitting alt-tab). I see several options that sound like they might work for this in Displayfusion and have heard that windows game mode might do this too. Can i make this automatically work in display fusion?

It's not possible to move a full screen game window to a non-primary monitor, so you'll need to change your primary monitor before launching the game. I believe you can change which monitor the touch inputs end up on though: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-touchscreen-input-registering-on-wrong/c7020f3a-fda4-47f5-84c0-b8cac76d390f

Regarding locking the mouse, you can try assigning a key combination to the "Lock/Unlock Mouse Cursor to Current Monitor" function on the Settings > Functions tab. Run that when the mouse is on the monitor, before launching the game.

Hope that helps!

Thanks that works great now! Can i make it so that the framerate of the gaming monitor also changes automatically when i switch between fortnite and other (nongaming) apps? Imagining that i can do this with triggers, but not sure how?

The refresh rate? You could technically change that using Triggers, but I wouldn't suggest changing the resolution or frame rate while a game is running, most games won't behave properly when doing that.
