I use MSI afterburner and like to have the graphs out on my side monitor from time to time. It does not have any minimize, maximize or full-screen. All you can do is manually drag it by its edges/corners to your desired size, which I do to give it the full-screen appearance. For some reason, it tends to shrink several times, showing some of my wallpaper behind it.

I'm wondering if there's any way to make a specific window from a specific program a specific size? And even better would be some kind of trigger for when it shrinks. But I would be satisfied with just the first.

You can create a custom function that sets the dimensions, and then attach a hotkey or titlebar button to it. You could also create a trigger for that specific app to size it when it launches, but if it's resizing itself every now and then, the custom function is probably better. I've attached our help guides below.

Thanks!

I found the way to make a window the correct size. But I can't find how to apply that to a specific application.

The custom function would work with any window, but with the trigger you can enter the app path into the "Process Filename" match condition.

Does the "Window Text" in match conditions for the process have to be exact? It's "MSI Afterburner v4.6.5 hardware monitor", which means if I update it needs to be changed. Or can I just remove the version number and will it still work?

I noticed I can set the exact width and height in window position profile as well.
