Application failed to start, file not found.
C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_16005.14326.20090.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\AppxManifest.xml

This happens everytime Microsoft updates the app. Is there a way to make the trigger permanent?

Hi Stan,

Is this happening when launching an application from your taskbar?

Thanks!

Hi Owen,

I don't have mail pinned to my taskbar but it is on the start menu. I do have calendar pinned to the windows taskbar. After an update, both of those work ok, though for mail it doesn't put it in the right window and its maximized across both windows on Monitor 1.

Background: I have 3 monitors.
Monitor 1 27" split into 2 windows
Monitor 2 55" TV usually turned off
Monitor 3 Old 19" monitor (Main Display)
Calendar is on Monitor 3.
Mail is on Monitor 1 Left window when everything works correctly.

After an update, DF cannont find either app and I have to go reset the DF function to load mail and calendar.

Let me know what other info you need.

Hi Stan,

Could you send me over a screenshot of the function you're using to load those applications?

Thanks!

Hi Stan,

Thanks for sending that over. We currently don't have a way to auto update the path if the version number changes, but I've added this to our list to look into. We'll be sure to let you know if we have anything further in the future.

Thanks!
