Hello everyone, im using DisplayFusion since few weeks! Im working on laptop, but i use a 2nd screen at home. I would like to know if, when i plug my 2nd screen, display fusion could automatically load a "windows position profile"

Thanks ! ^^ JF

It sure can! In the Monitor Configuration window, save your 2 monitor setup as a Monitor Profile. Then click "Manage Monitor Profiles" and assign your Window Position Profile to it there. When DisplayFusion detects the Monitor Profile, it will automatically load the associated Window Position Profile :)

Hope that helps!

What's the best way to set up the window position profile? I tend to switch my display between picture by picture mode (split in half) and full res and so far haven't been able to get my windows to restore their position.

I typically have several Chrome windows open: a main browser window and several web apps (Whatsapp, Gmail, Facebook etc) created as their own "apps" via Chrome's "Create shortcut" feature.

Have you already tried saving different Window Position Profiles and then assigning them to the Monitor Profiles?

Yes I have. I might have something configured wrong because my windows don't seem to rearrange properly when I switch profiles.

Ok, if you edit the Window Position Profile, do any of the entries have file names or page titles in their "Window Text" field? If so, could you try disabling the Window Text condition for those entries and see if that makes any difference at all?
