Hello,

I'm new to DisplayFusion, so I apologize if I'm not aware of a whole lot.

Here is a scenario:
A worker remotes into their work PC from home using a thin client, and it's a 4 monitor set-up. They arrange their programs in their preferred method, and save a Window Positioning profile based on it. That profile is also linked to their Monitor Configuration profile.
Then, the worker goes back into the office, and logs in via another thin client, but this time it's a 6 monitor set-up. All of their windows are messed up, but then the user organizes them and a new profile is saved for the 6 monitor configuration.

When switching between the 6 and 4 monitor set-ups, it doesn't seem to change the profiles automatically. How can I tell DisplayFusion to switch between the 4-monitor and 6-monitor profiles when it detects that the configuration has changed?

Good question! You have Monitor Profiles saved for both configurations? If so, when you login to each configuration, if you open the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration window, does it show "Detected Profile: profile name" in the top-left?

No, I didn't find anything like that.

Ok, it sounds like it's not detecting that the monitor configuration matches the profile. If you re-save the Monitor Profile, does it then show it as being detected?

After re-saving the monitor configuration, it automatically applies itself when switching between the different configs as expected. However, I notice now that when I reboot the PC, it doesn't automatically detect the configuration anymore.

I am attempting to connect to the machine via Citrix Remote PC. When I log in directly to the machine (with 2 monitors plugged in), no remoting in, it automatically detects the profile I set for that.

So if you save the profile while logged in via Citrix, then reboot, and re-login again through Citrix (not the local console), it doesn't detect it? Or does it only stop detecting it after saving it via Citrix, then logging in at the local console?
