I'm currently using the Window Location feature to force some applications to open on a specific monitor. I'm wondering if DisplayFusion also has some setting to move an application that's already opened to a monitor, as soon as the monitor is connected. I couldn't find such an option in Window Location. I also tried playing a bt with Monitor Profiles, but that didn't help? Ideas?

At the moment there isn't a way to re-run a Window Location rule on an already open application, but this is on our feature request list. One thing you can do is run the "Save Window Positions" function before disconnecting the external monitor. Then when you return, you can run the "Restore Window Positions" function to put the windows back where they belong.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for your quick feedback. This is the way I'm already doing it, but it's easy to forget now and then to save the windows positions before switching monitors. Hope this will be implemented soon!
