Is kinda broken. If you have a compatibility set, and its currently "compating?" to stop the wallpaper from changing, the button doesn't highlight, and clicking the button does nothing.

And uh... The button itself doesn't do anything :( It seems so far that running a program with a compatibility set will thereafter break the button.

Ill report more when I find more :D

I set it as Ctrl + Win + T and works like a charm.

Well this is a bug report.

Did you open a program with a compatibility setting set in DF?

@Kevin: I think what you are asking is to have the "Freeze Wallpaper Image" TitleBar Button look pressed when a program with the compatibility setting "don't allow wallpaper changes" is running. Is this true? Sorry, that sentence even baffles me now that I read it over again. :)

That, and have the button working, at all. Currently if you open a program with the freeze wallpaper compatibility, the button breaks. Pressing it AFTER you have closed the program does not have the desired effect, and pressing it while the program is open does nothing either.

I need to stop posting at 5 am .

I have fixed a few bugs relating to the freeze wallpaper button for the next beta. However, let me explain how this all works internally (I hope this isn't too confusing):

- If the freeze option is enabled via a TitleBar Button or the system tray menu option, the random wallpaper changer won't change the wallpaper
- If the freeze option is disabled BUT an app with the compatibility option set to disallow wallpaper changes is running the random wallpaper changer won't change the wallpaper
- While this compatibility app is running, you can do whatever you want with the freeze option, it won't matter - the app compatibility takes precedence (it may appear broken?)
- Once this compatibility app is closed, the wallpaper freeze option starts working again

Does this all make sense? :)

Its that last bit, that it restores the option that I found something wrong with, after the program has been opened the button doesn't work till I restart DF.

After the program is opened, the button won't do anything until the program is closed. I have tested this extensively and I can't seem to reproduce any issues relating to the way the wallpaper pause is working, sorry. :(
