I have searched the forum and found a solution to a previous version of DisplayFusion but not for the latest...anyway, my computer beeps and the mouse is erratic when the desktop wallpaper changes...has anyone else experienced this and if so what is the solution?
Anyone...as someone who has purchased this software, I would appreciate an answer :P

While My cursor doesnt do anything weird, I also get a beep sometimes when my wallpaper changes, especially if i first exit a game, then have the wallpaper change and it beeps once. it sounds more like a software beep than say a POST beep for like bad ram.

If you have "Automatically pick an accent colour from my background" enabled in the Windows Settings > Colours tab, that can cause some mouse issues on wallpaper changes.

I wonder if those beeps are coming from the tray notification. If you turn on "Don't Show Tray Icon Notification Balloons" in the DisplayFusion Advanced Settings window, and then restart DisplayFusion, does that make any difference?

Thanks!

You will have to excuse me but I can't find that setting...

@brokey Sorry I missed a step, its actually Windows Settings > Personalization > Colours > "Automatically pick an accent colour from my background". I'll attach a screenshot of the setting below as well.

Thanks!

Just to confirm you have that disabled?

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Thanks for sending that over. Is your wallpaper just a solid colour that changes on a timer? It's not loading any images?

Thanks!

Ah, do you have your wallpaper configured through the Windows Background Settings, rather than the DisplayFusion Wallpaper Settings? If you exit DisplayFusion, do you still get this delay on wallpaper switches?

Thanks!
