Hi Keith, the message earlier was sent from my install at work. Just loaded up at home (same build, same monitors) and I get the same issue.
Log attached as well as a screen shot of both my monitors. As you can see DF removed the task bar on my default monitor (left) and retains the standard task bar on the right.
Hope that makes sense.

Hi, interestingly enough I just used Pot Player to watch a movie back and after watching it I now have two tool bars and can't turn the default one off (well I can in settings but it remains).
I looked in the taskbar settings and can't see the option you mention.
So for me alas back to standard Windows 10 for the moment until DF gets a litle more Win 10 happy

When I enable the Multi-Monitor taskbar it asks me to disable the Windows Multi-Monitor taskbar while showing both taskbars on the second monitor.
When I say yes to disable the Windows multi-monitor taskbar it still comes back with the two taskbars above each other with the same question.

Strange! I can't reproduce this here, so it seems like for some reason DF isn't able to disable the built-in Windows 10 multi-monitor taskbars on your machine. Are you able to disable them manually? You can do this by right-clicking the Windows taskbar, choosing Properties, then disabling "Show taskbar on all displays."
