This is on Windows 7 x64 Professional

DF Beta 3.2.0.103 puts sidebar gadget icons in main taskbar on system reboot. There is one icon per gadget. This does not happen on Windows 7 x86 Professional. Closing the icon disables its respective sidebar gadget. Had to convert back to Beta 2.
A debug log is attached.

Very strange, the sidebar gadgets work perfectly for me. Do the gadgets show up on the DisplayFusion taskbar as well? Can you send me the information from the Troubleshooting tab next time you see this issue? I would like to see what DisplayFusion is detecting for these windows. Thanks! :)

It happens on every reboot. The gadget icons do not show up in the DF taskbar, only the Windows taskbar. Here is the info requested plus a new troubleshooting log.

I might add that it does not happen when I upgrade from Beta 2 to Beta 3. It occurs on a reboot following the upgrade and every subsequent reboot with Beta 3 installed.

This only happens with Beta 3 installed, not beta 2?

It started with Beta 3 and only on Window 7 x64 Pro, not on my Windows 7 x86 system which also have gadgets....mostly the same as my x64 system.

When I switch back to Beta 2, the problem disappears.

Congratulations, this is the craziest problem I've ever seen, I don't even know where to start. :) Let me get my test system setup and see if I can reproduce this issue, it seems to work fine on my main machine and my virtual machines.

Here's an AutoRun display of the Gadgets that start up on my x64 system.

Can you try disabling the TitleBar Buttons feature with Beta 3 installed, rebooting and see if this issue still happens?

Disabling the Beta 3 TitleBar Buttons does stop the problem. :-)

Can you try re-enabling the TitleBar Buttons feature, reboot (with Beta 3) and make sure the problem is still happening. If it is, try replacing your DisplayFusion.exe with the attached file and let me know if it still happens.

If that attachment still doesn't work, can you give DF2.zip a try? :) Thanks!

I re-enabled the Titlebar button, rebooted and the problem re-appears.

I closed down DF and replaced Displayfusion.exe, rebooted with the Titlebar button enabled. The problem re-appeared.

I disabled the Titlebar buttons, rebooted and the problem disappears.

DisplayFusion.exe in DisplayFusion2.zip works! I can reboot with the Titlebar buttons enabled and the problem does not exist. :-)

That's great that we've found the issue, I'll have to try and work around this. Thanks! You can keep using that DF2.zip EXE file until Beta 4 comes out. :)
