Better windows snapping algorithm

Please check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkpmjqFrs9Q
You know, not always DF snaps dragging window to others.
I think that it is better to separate snapping axises. I. E. snap to one nearest window at X axis at time and one at Y axis.

Thanks for the video Maxim! We'll see if there's any way we can improve this.

Unfortunately we haven't had any luck resolving this. What is your snap distance set to?

25 pixels,
All checkbox on tab are checked, snapping mode is last one (3), snapping key is Shift.

Ah ok, if you're only snapping to monitor edges then 25px is a good distance, but for snapping to other windows we recommend setting it to 15px or lower. Could you give that a try and let me know if it works any better?
Thanks!

Now it works better. Thank you!
BTW, I noticed that snapping feature doesn't work with message boxes and explorer's "run app" (WIN+R) and "delete file" dialogs.

Awesome, thanks Maxim! Those dialogs behave very strangely in XP. We've tried to fix them in the past with no luck
