when invoking DF script BFS.Dialog.GetUserInput, the dialog shows but does not get focus, after close the dialog then invoke it again, the focus will work correctly.

Also exit DF, and run again, then invoke the dialog script, the problem occurs! but it will work after the first invocation.

I've just tested this out here, and it seems to work correctly for me. What window has focus when you're running this function? And are you running the function via hotkey, or titlebar button?

I run the function via hotkey combination.

I tried chrome browser has the focus, and invoked the dialog via hotkey, the first time the DF dialog had not got focus, the focus was still in chrome. and after the first time, it would work correctly.

Thanks! I tested it again and was able to reproduce it here, and I've added it to our list. We'll be sure to let you know as soon as we're able to fix it up :)

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

I experience this issue as well.

I'm trying to run the scripted function "Change Window Title" from a TitleBar button.

The dialog is created but it's hidden underneath other windows.

This happens every time I run the script.

How can I make the dialog be focussed when it's opened?

I'm running version 9.7.

I have made a workaround using a trigger to run another scripted function "Focus Window" when a window with the text "Change window title: • DisplayFusion Pro" is created.

Not ideal but it works!

Hello,

Was it getting hidden under a specific application, or all applications?

Thanks!

I've just done a few quick tests.

At first, it appeared to hide under all non-maximised windows, i.e. it would be visible on top of the 'first'/'next' maximised window.

I then changed those maximised windows to restored and tried again, but now it hides under all the windows, whether they are maximised or not.

Hello,

Interesting, it seems to be working well for me. Do you have any compatibility settings for any applications?

Thanks!

I've installed 9.7.1 Beta 6 and can confirm it works fine now, thanks!

The window also displays quicker which is a nice bonus :)
