BgInfo and DisplayFusion don't seem to play well together in the latest version. DisplayFusion will correctly set the wallpaper, and then when BgInfo runs it turns the screen black. Our IT department has BgInfo running in a login script, so I can't get rid of it. Any ideas on how to fix this?
If you enable the "Wallpaper: Generate Smaller Files" option in the Settings > Advanced Settings window, does it work correctly again?

No, tried that and it still creates a black wallpaper screen.
Ok, do you remember which version of DisplayFusion did work fine with BGInfo? I'll test it out here.
Thanks!

Whichever version was previous to 6.1 worked fine (don't remember exactly which).

Sorry for the delay, we were on vacation and I didn't have a chance to look at it. I just uninstalled version 6 and installed version 5 from the provided link, and BGInfo seems to work just fine with version 5. Is there anything else I can provide as a diagnostic to help narrow this down?

Sure, do you want troubleshooting info from version 5, or should I do the upgrade to 6 and then get the troubleshooting info?

Changed wallpaper, BGInfo ran, and got a black desktop. Troubleshooting info attached, though in the troubleshooting window it says that logging is disabled. Which logging setting should I change it to?

Debug files attached. Updated the wallpaper at about 10:08.

Thanks! It looks like it has to do with DF applying the wallpaper with a transition. I've added this issue to our list, but in the meantime, you can work around it by disabling the "Use transitions when changing..." option in the Wallpaper > Wallpaper Settings window.
Thanks!

Great, thanks for getting to the bottom of this!
