Has anyone found a way past this functionality limitation, or software conflict.

I do a lot of software acceptance testing, and I use DisplayFusion to (beautifully) manage two monitors, and Microsoft's BGInfo to overlay a watermark on the wallpaper of what system I have and what versions of applications are installed.

Then I upgraded to "Pro", feeling guilty at using DisplayFusion for free. And now I've hit a problem:
- The Image Info options on the wallpaper will only add image/system information. I'd love to be able to add custom fields.
- BGInfo no longer works, as the image is reset a few seconds after BGInfo updates it.

I'm very disappointed. Help me, please.

Thank you for your purchase!

If you've configured your DisplayFusion wallpaper to use a single image, you can disable the "Fix my wallpaper without prompting" option in the Wallpaper Settings, and then DisplayFusion won't automatically reset the wallpaper when BGInfo modifies it.

As for the Info Tags in DisplayFusion, if you can let me know what tags you'd like to see added to them, we'll certainly add them to our feature request list.

Thanks!

Great. Thanks. Will try that.

In terms of functionality request, I'd like to see the ability to watermark the File Version property of a named file and also to include a text string with that (so I know which file it is).

Ok, would the file be the wallpaper image? Or do you want to be able to specify any file on the system to show the version info for?

Thanks!
