As per the title, the newest 9.5 version fixed middle click closing tabs, just like it worked for chrome, but now middle click won't move the window to the next monitor, which it does work for chrome.

For Brave you'll need to middle-click the caption buttons (minimize/maximize/close) :)

Thanks, good to know there is a way. Will this be something that can be fixed in the future? So you can click on the title bar anywhere (that is not a tab).

No, we had to do this because it's not possible for us to know if there's a tab under the mouse or not. Because of that, middle-clicking used to close the tab but also move the window.

Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.

Thanks!

I'm having the exact same issue, but theres a delay of about 3 seconds between I middle click the min/max/close buttons and the monitor goes to the other screen.

Also, why is Brave different if it is based on Chromium and Chrome works fine?

Chrome has a way to hit test the caption bar to see if there's a tab underneath the mouse. Brave and other Chromium based browsers don't seem to allow that :(

If the window isn't maximized, is it still delayed?

Maybe I'll try opening an issue in their Github tomorrow. I'm pretty sure they'll dismiss it, but it's worth trying.

Yes! When not maximized, the monitor change is inmediate. I wasn't aware of that behaviour until you pointed it. Thanks!

Do you use monitor splitting in DisplayFusion as well?

Sorry but how do I know that?

You'd have to enable it specifically, so I'd guess it's not enabled on your machine :)

No worries, I was just curious if that was contributing. We'll let you know if/when we're able to get the delay when maximized sorted out.

Thanks!

OK, I googled what that was (now that I'm on my computer) and no, I don't have it enabled... but it looks like a useful feature for large resolution displays!

I installed DELL Display Manager and I think its function is basically the same, but I never, ever, run it. There's little point on splitting a 1080 display anyway. :P A 4K display... now that's another story!

In the meantime, if you enable the "Window Management: Use Alternate Method To Move Windows" option in the DisplayFusion Settings > Advanced Settings window, that should resolve the delay.

If you don't run into any other issues with that option enabled, it's safe to leave enabled all the time :)

There's no delay now, cool!

I'll let you know if I see any other issue with that option enabled.

Thanks!
