Not sure how to describe these issues too well.
With DisplayFusion managing my screens, I get a ton of small to moderate but frustrating issues.
My left monitor (3840x2160) seemingly has an invisible split or is being merged with my ultrawide monitor somehow (3440x1440). Windows only maximize to the top 3/4 of the monitor and while I can manually resize them, this obviously isn't ideal as it forces windowed states and is difficult to get into place. Borderless applications are especially an issue since they absolutely refuse to use the full monitor.
The bottom quarter is totally ignored, windows never maximize to that area.
Dragging a window in my 4k monitor causes the DisplayFusion shortcut button to be totally offset, being about 2000 pixels into my ultrawide. I don't use the button, but it might be a clue in what the issue is.
Task bars are often overlapping or don't appear at all. This might be related to the "Use these Features with Split Monitors" section of the settings, but I prefer to have one taskbar per monitor rather than per split.
The start menu often doesn't appear on certain monitors, or will appear far above the taskbar or cut off behind and below it.
I can deal with most of these issues but only being able to use 3/4 of a 4k monitor is a dealbreaker, as annoying as the rest of the issues are. I'd really appreciate some help with this as it's driving me crazy.

Hope this can help. I had to enable the ultrawide as my primary monitor for the splits issue to show up again. With the 4k monitor as my primary monitor the splits weren't working, but the invisible split was gone.

Hello,
Thanks for sending that over. It looks like there are some issues detecting your video card, which is likely what's causing these issues.
Could you download our test tool (https://www.binaryfortress.com/Data/Download/?DownloadID=495db9ad-a9fe-4bee-a23d-d9cf233a7b1b&Log=0) and send over the output in a text document?
Thanks!

Hi Owen, apologies for the delay. Here's the output from the tool.

Hello,
Thanks for sending that over. If you disable your monitor splits, do these issues still happen?
Thanks!
Hello,
Interesting, could you send over the output of that test tool with your taskbars enabled, and without?
Thanks!

Hi Owen, thanks for getting back to me.
Here's the debug log output. I enabled multi monitor taskbars around 01:30. Hope this can help diagnose the issue.

Hello,
This issue is definitely stemming from DisplayFusion not being able to read your monitor information.
What model of monitors, and graphics card are you using?
Thanks!

Left is an ASUS VP28UQGL, middle is Gigabyte G34WQC, bottom is an XP-Pen Artist22E Pro. The GPU is a Gigabyte RTX 2060. The standard monitors are connected with DisplayPort, and the tablet with HDMI.
Hello,
Are you running any anti-virus software on your system?
Thanks!

Just the Windows virus protection that comes with Windows 10.
Hello,
We've made some adjustments to our output test tool. Could you download it here, and send over another file? https://www.binaryfortress.com/Data/Download/?Package=displayfusion&bfcustomertest=1&Log=0
Thanks!
Hello,
Ah whoops! Can you try downloading it again from that link and let me know if you still run into issues?
Thanks!

Hello,
Thanks for sending that over, it looks like some error messages are appearing now. Can you try removing your monitor driver, let Windows reinstall it using device manager, and then send me over another copy of your troubleshooting information?
Thanks!

Hi,
Not sure uninstalling the monitor drivers did anything. Could you provide directions for the uninstallation process if the logs don't show the expected results?
Thanks

Hi, could I get an update on this thread please? I'm still struggling with the same issues.
Hello,
Sorry for the delay. Could you actually try opening Device Manager, and enable "Show Hidden Devices" in the "View" tab, and see if there are any virtual adapters listed under the "Display Adapters" section?
Thanks!

No problem!
With "Show Hidden Devices" enabled, there are no adapters listed other than my RTX 2060.

Hi, here's the exported info. Just a heads up - the 4k monitor has been rotated to portrait mode since the last time I sent over troubleshooting info.

Hello,
Thanks for sending that over. Can you try uninstalling TeamViewer and see if the issue persists? Sometimes the driver it installs can cause issues.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks!

Hi Owen,
I did a full uninstall of Teamviewer - no improvement on the issue unfortunately.
I did have an idea though, and remembered that windows by default changes the scaling of text for certain monitor sizes. Changing the scale to 100% seems to have solved the issue (although it does make the cursor and text uncomfortably small and difficult to read).
That said, would it be possible to add support for monitor scaling in future versions of DisplayFusion? As happy as I am to be able to use DF's features properly now, it is difficult to use most apps at 100% scale with high PPI monitors.
Thanks for offering your help over the last few months! I hope me finding the solution can help other users with similar issues.

That's really strange, but I'm glad to hear you found the issue! Setting scaling above 100% definitely shouldn't be causing these issues. Could you send me over another copy of your troubleshooting info when your scaling is set to 100%?
Also just to confirm, if you switch back to 150%, does the issue come back?
Thanks!

Sure - here's the results of 100% scaling (and 150%, just in case it helps).
The issues come back at 150% scaling - windows snap incorrectly, splits stop working, the DF shortcut near the minimize, maximize and close icons becomes offset again, etc. When I swapped back to 100% after saving the diagnostics everything went back to normal.

Thanks for sending that over. Do you have any compatibility settings in Windows set to run with DisplayFusion?
Thanks!

None that I'm aware of - I'm using a fresh install of the Steam version of DF.
When you adjust your scaling settings, are you rebooting, or does the issue happen right away?
Thanks!

Could you implement taskbar offset? Windows don't.respect DF taskbar and when maximized move under it. I would bring it to front, offset down and make the windows taskbars the same height.

For context - I'm using powertoys fancy zones.
I'm showing(not auto-hide) the windows taskbar, but settings transparency to 0 using nircmd.
I managed to work around the issue slightly, by setting the taskbar to autohide and then back, but there is still an offset.
See both attachments.
You don't need to "fix" it for now - just add an offset in the advanced settings. Solves all my problems.
