Hi,

Often when i'm fullscreen on a youtube video using chrome, then middle click on the taskbar to open a new chrome window all chrome instances will exit.
This happens quite often to me so I had logging turned on which I attached.

Thanks.

From the log, it looks like DisplayFusion did indeed register the middle-click as a "Close" command. Could you check the DisplayFusion Settings > Taskbar tab to see what the "Taskbar Button Middle-Click Behaviour" option is set to?

It is set to "Open a new instance". I use middle click to open all the time, and it is usually fine. It's only once in a while that doing it will cause the browser to close. In the bunch of times it's happened I only recall that it was whilst in a fullscreen youtube video.

Ok, I noticed in the log that it seems to think you've middle-clicked the window preview. I'm wondering if the preview started to pop up on hover, and then the middle click triggered on it too early. If you wait a second or two before middle-clicking the taskbar button, does this still occur?

I think you may be right. If you hover over the taskbar for a split second before middle clicking it will click the preview window. I guess the preview is layered infront of the taskbar?

Ok, thanks for confirming! We'll add this to our list and we'll see what we can do to fix it up :)

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
