I use Window Location to force Firefox to load on monitor 1, 80% width, right.

But in DF 4.1 every time i click a dropdown (select-box), the dropdown jumps to the right. When i take to mouse to the od location, it jumps back.

Another thing: Is it possible that DF only controles the main Firefox Window and not ex the downloadwindow and popups, that also scales up?

I've tested and confirmed this issue, and we'll see what we can do to get it fixed up.

Thanks!

Just a quick update, DisplayFusion 4.2 Beta 1 is now available at the link below, and this issue should be all fixed up.

I've just tested it out with the latest version of Firefox and DisplayFusion 4.1 Beta 2, and it seems to be working. The context menus don't get moved by the Window Location rule any more.

Could you attach a copy of the info from the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab?

Regarding the Firefox Downloads window: If the Window Location rule is setup to move all Firefox windows, unfortunately there's no way to exclude the Downloads window.

Thanks!

You mean 4.2 beta 1 ;)

I still have the problem with the dropdown moving, but now it moves back automatically after ½ a second.

Can you add a setting that doesn’t just looks at firefox.exe, but at the title of the window, that is "Mozilla Firefox" for the main window, contra “Download manager”, or equals.

What do you need from the log?

Indeed! Got my numbers mixed up :)

I was just looking to get the Troubleshooting info so that I can try setting up a test system that's as close as possible to yours, to see if I can reproduce the issue here.

As for Window Location rules that use the window title, it's not possible at the moment, but we may add it in the future.

Thanks!
