I have an ultrawide monitor. I use DF to divide that monitor into two chucks and I have the multimonitor taskbar enabled. With that configuration the tooltips for the icons in the tray drawer display under the drawer itself.

Strange! Could you send me over a backup of your settings? You can grab them in the options tab of Display Fusion, using the "Export Settings" button.
