I have just found out that when I try to pin a store app to the task bar it firstly doesn't use the apps icon but uses some default icon. Secondly the app wont launch.

When editing the icon's detail with DF, it just shows the command C:\Windows\System32\ApplicationFrameHost.exe so DF really has no way to tell which app it should launch.

Yep! This is on our list. We'll be sure to post an update when it's all fixed up :)

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

Thanks for having a crack at this but it leaves two icons. The pinned one and the running app one.

Just checking this is the same issue I have. A pinned icon on the DF taskbar results in duplicate icons (one pinned and one running). Is this still a known issue?

@Chris: Are those Universal (Windows Store) apps or Desktop (Win32) apps?

They are Desktop (Win32 and Win64) apps so I guess not the same issue. Sorry :(
Shall I start a separate thread?

No worries! If they're desktop apps you should be able to get them to combine by right-clicking the DisplayFusion taskbar and choosing Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Shortcuts > Combine with Taskbar Buttons.
