Hello,

I'm having a bug with my DF installation. Here's the setup (same on multiple computer):

- Windows 8.1 Enterprise x64
- DF 5.1
- Dual Monitor (left main)
- Windows taskbar disabled
- DF Taskbar enabled with Windows 7 aero peek, each showing respective apps with start button and systray

Here are the 2 bug:
The first bug is with ALT+TAB. If you have a window on the right monitor(for me the right monitor is the 2nd one, left being the primary), ALT+TAB list won't show app from the second monitor. Because of that, if you have a browser on main monitor and something else on secondary monitor and you do alt+tab, there's a good chance you get the "desktop" one, minimizing everything.

The other problem is with aero peek form the taskbar on secondary monitor. If I put my mouse on one apps from secondary monitor, on the taskbar, and wait for the aero peek fadin animation, all my window on the primary monitor will stay hidden when the mouse move out of focus (so when aero peek fade back the windows). Only way to fix is to go back to start screen and back to desktop. Doesn't do it all the time, but enough to be highly noticeable.

Thanks!

The alt-tab issue can be fixed by enabling our Alt-Tab Handler in the DisplayFusion Settings > Advanced Settings. We had to write our own handler, because Windows seems to remove windows from Alt-Tab if they don't have a button on the Windows taskbar.

The Aero Peek issue should be all fixed up in the latest 5.1.1 Beta, available here: http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks!

Ah, great to know that they are known issue and have some fixes.

For the Alt+Tab DF Hook, would be great to have an option to disable Apps from showing (show only desktop app).

Windows built-in show me this right now:
Desktop -> Firefox

DF Hook show:
Desktop -> windows Store -> Firefox

I'm on a fresh boot, didn't boot windows store.

I'll try the beta for the aero bug.

Thanks!

No problem, glad to hear that worked! I'll add your request regarding removing the Windows 8 "metro" Apps from the Alt-Tab window to our feature request list.

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version and there's now an option in the Settings > Advanced Settings window to disable Metro apps from showing in the Alt-Tab handler.. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
