I'm on DisplayFusion v11.0 (beta 2).

I recently added a new monitor to my setup. This new monitor is in portrait mode (flipped) and is using a custom resolution (1200 x 2048). The custom resolution is created using the CRU utility.

In DisplayFusion, I want to force the monitor from monitor 3 (portrait monitor) and then monitor 2. However, every time I save the changes, DisplayFusion will crash and restart and lose the settings. It would crash almost immediately. But before it does, I could quickly use a hotkey and move the window to the next monitor, which goes to monitor 3 and then monitor 2. That's exactly what I want.

I've tried making the changes via registry, but whenever DisplayFusion starts up, it would crash and then revert the changes made.

I thought perhaps my DisplayFusion had some bad settings, so I reset everything to default and then tested just the Monitor Order setting. Same issue. Seems like it's a bug.

I've attached the logs for reference.

If you head to C:\Users\(YourUser)\AppData\Local\CrashDumps, is there anything listed for DisplayFusion? If so, could you send over the latest file?

Also it looks like you have the monitor order setting set to "2", do you want that set to "3, 2"?

No crashdumps in that folder, although there's a crashdump for Notepad++ which I use sometimes.

Yes, I'm trying to set the order as 3,2. But it doesn't matter what the order is. Whenever that portrait monitor is added to the monitor order setting, after I click OK to save, DisplayFusion will just force close.

If you have that monitor set to a standard resolution does it work fine?

No, it doesn't work even on standard resolution.

Monitor #2 is also using a custom resolution (2580x1080) and DisplayFusion has no problem showing the title bar buttons for applications that are open on this monitor.

The monitor configuration also shows both monitors just fine. It's literally just the MonitorOrder setting that doesn't save properly.

Interesting, if both monitors are set to a standard resolution does that change anything?

Can you check here for a crash dump as well: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion\CrashDumps
