I'm trying to run an application that senses different monitors that's attached to a PC. I'm using DisplayFusion to split one 4K big screen tv into 4 1080p screens. However, the IDs on each split become 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4. Is there a way that the monitor IDs can be 1, 2, 3, and 4, and detectable by the windows display settings?
Unfortunately DisplayFusion can't make Windows itself, or other applications think there are multiple physical monitors. It can only hook windows that are maximizing and resize them to the splits, and add taskbars and wallpaper to each split.
