Hi!

I just need one titelbar buttonbut I Cann't use 1 TitelBar Button in the Free version! When I configure this I get the message "Please upgrade to pro to use more than 1 TitelBar button."

I've added a screenshot as attachment.

Is this a bug or do you wanted to confuse the free user with that? ;-)

It looks like there is already 1 TitleBar Button configured in the list. Just remove it first and you'll be able to add a different one. The one in the list is the default button that comes pre-configured, but it can be safely removed.

I can confirm this. I get the exact same error when trying to add a "Span windows across all monitors" button (and that's the only button).

It looks like the "free version detection" is broken as it only lets you add the first button in the drop down list... so yes, it does limit you to one titlebar button, but it also limits your choice of what that one titlebar button will be! :?

I hope this was unintentional as I'd like to add one button. I'd buy the pro version if I cared for any of the other features of this product. The only thing I use it for is provide an easy way to psuedo-maximize a window across both screens. Not exactly worth $25 for that. I am eager to see what other features they add; specifically to enhance Windows 7.

If that were only true. After installing 3.1.0, I went to the TitleBar Buttons section and checked the box to "Enable TitleBar Buttons". There were no other buttons defined beneath "TitleBar Buttons". Even in the OP's screenshot, you can see that there is only one button in his list.

@motionblurrr: At what point do you receive the "You must upgrade..." messagebox? Is it when you click the "Add" button, or when you click the "Ok" or "Apply" button?

It seems to come up quite often. For instance, I just right-clicked the tray icon and clicked settings and it popped up. I clicked "OK" to the message and it brings me to the normal settings window.

I then click TitleBar Buttons - Add - Select "Span window across all monitors" - OK. At this point, the button is listed under "TitleBar Buttons". If I click Apply, I get the message "Please upgrade to DisplayFusion Pro to use more than 1 TitleBar Button." I click OK to close the message and it pops up again. I click OK again and it takes me back to the main TitleBar Buttons screen. The button is no longer listed.

I performed the same steps again, this time clicking "OK" instead of "Apply" and I got the message, but only once.... however, I just realized that by clicking "OK", that is what causes me to get it when I initially open the settings window from the tray icon. So basically, it's like the "Apply" button triggers something to make the window pop up twice, while "OK" only triggers it once, until the window is displayed again, at which point you'll see the message again.

Hope that all makes sense!
