I'm using Windows 10 64bit. I've had this issue from the start of using DisplayFusion but it felt like something extremely infrequent, of late it seems to happen every 4 or so times after first changing monitor profile. What happens is I change monitor profile to move to the other screen while disabling the first one, and then I try pressing the start menu and it briefly appears before seemingly moving out of sight towards the top. Restoring the previous display makes no difference as the start menu still glitches by not showing up. The only way to remedy seems to be to left click on the start menu and restart.

That's really strange! Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Hello Keith,

Here is the exported file. I appreciate that you're taking the time to look into this. Thank you.

Thanks! So this only happens when changing from the "16:9" profile to the "4:3" profile?

Yes. But once it happens changing back to the 16:9 monitor doesn't restore the start menu to normal. I've had a few instances where it happens, and I immediately click out of the start menu, wait a few seconds, and once the wallpaper changes the start menu works once again. However more often than not once this glitch occurs it does not correct itself until a restart.

How big is your start menu? Do you have a lot of tiles on it?

Not really. Mostly the default ones that Windows 10 came with, with an additional 6 or 7 small size ones I added underneath.

Ok, thanks! I'll do some more testing here and see what I can find out. I'll be sure to keep you posted when I have more news.
