I have my PC set up to three screens in three separate rooms. Often I turn off the PC in one room and then later turn it on in another. I was wondering if there is a way to change profiles from the Windows 10 lock screen? It's annoying either having to go and turn the screen on in another room and log in or having to type the password blind and hope I get it right.

If this isn't possible is there any way to have a default profile from system boot? The PC always boots onto the screen I shut it down on. As an alternative, is there a way to have a monitor profile that the PC always boots to regardless of which profile you shut the PC down on? I did have a look in triggers but couldn't find anything.

Thanks.

If you usually have a phone or a tablet handy, you could use the DisplayFusion Remote app to run the "Monitor Configuration > Load Monitor Profile: Profile Name" function. I've just tested it here and it works fine at the lock screen (assuming it's locked, and not fully logged out).

If you go that route, you'll want to enable the "Monitor Configuration > Don't Show Confirmation Prompt" option in the Settings > Advanced Settings window, otherwise it will revert back to the old profile if you don't login and click Keep Changes fast enough :)

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the advice, Kieth. Unfortunately, I only need this function from a cold boot so the app won't work at the time I need it. I can live with it. It's not that big of a deal.
