I am running a Dell U4919DW, the 49" super ultra wide @ 5120x1440 resolution. I currently have it split up into (3) 1707x1440 screens.
Issues i'm facing:
- Google Chrome won't maximize. The maximize button is completely unresponsive. If I restart displayfusion, it will work once and maximize to the split, then if I restore it down and try to maximize again it goes unresponsive.
- Youtube, twitch, etc - If you click full screen to maximize it to the panel it maximizes to the entire screen instead of just the split.

Any way to fix these issues?

Could you send over a debug log for the Chrome maximizing issue?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

The full screen thing is a known issue, DisplayFusion can't constrain full screen windows to monitor splits.

Thanks!

Thanks! I can see where it's failing in the log, but there isn't an indication as to why :(

Is it Chrome stable, or one of the beta/dev channels?

Thanks! I wonder if it's related to it being 32-bit. It shouldn't matter, but I'll test with 32-bit Chrome next week and see what I can find out.

I had a chance to test with 32-bit Chrome today and everything seems to be working correctly for me still. Could you attach a backup of your settings? (Settings > Options > Export)

Thanks!

Keith,

It appears upgrading to 64-bit version of chrome has resolved my issue. Thanks for the help!
