When maximizing chrome, the window will fill the screen for a brief moment and then size itself appropriately which comes off as a big flash on the screen and I only begin to notice this after the 9.4 update, but it appears to do it as well with DisplayFusion turned off, but I'm thinking perhaps in the previous version it was managed (?). Without DisplayFusion on, it is hardly noticeable, but using an ultrawide monitor with splits it is extremely noticeable.

This is due to us removing the hooks for Chrome. In the Chrome dev channel, Chrome is already blocking hooks, so we've just made DisplayFusion stop trying to hook Chrome, because that change will eventually make it in to the Chrome stable channel, and we wanted to make sure DisplayFusion was ready for it with this update.

We worked around the hooks using polling and timers for most features, but there will definitely be a bit of weirdness like that.

As an alternative, you could create a Custom Function that sizes the window to 100% height and width, and then run that on Chrome with a hotkey or titlebar button. That will just resize the window to the split instead of having to poll for it maximizing and then resizing it.

Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.

Thanks!
