Sorry if someone already requested this feature, but is it possible to implement the "combine taskbar buttons" feature? That would make this program perfect in my estimation :-)

Thank you, really love the program.

Does this mean the feature is still a ways off?
I don't mean to nag, but If it's already in the latest beta I cant see it :)

I recently moved to Win7 (from Server 2008) on all my machines and the disparity between the icon grouping is a tad annoying.

Sorry, but this had to be pushed to the next release because of time constraints. I can only add so many features in each release, but don't worry, it's coming. :)

No worries, fully understand - in the same situation too :)

Just wanted to pop in and say that the grouping functionality is in place or Beta 1 (coming out in a few days). It's very rough right now (not styled), but it's coming together very nicely. Sorry for pushing it back, but it will be worth the wait. :)

I assume that this feature would make the display fusion taskbar on the second monitor similar to the Windows 7 style taskbar where all instances of an application will be under one icon and hovering will display previews of those windows?

Is this feature in Beta 6? If so, how is enabled?

You are correct, it will look very Windows 7-ish, and this is planned for inclusion around Beta 10-12. :)

OK... now we are 2012 june... and I really can't combine the buttons on the second monitor... did you implemented this and I'm missing something or it's still a standby feature?

@Geovane: Do you have the Group Buttons option enabled in the DisplayFusion taskbar settings? (right-click the taskbar, navigate to Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Group Buttons > Enabled)

If so, what is the Button Style option set to, and what do you have the Taskbar Buttons setting on the Windows taskbar set to?

Thanks!

Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place, but seemed like the relevant topic to post to. I'm wondering about the intended behavior of the Multi-Monitor Taskbar --> Group Buttons --> Automatic setting. My windows taskbar is setup to "Combine when taskbar is full", but I can't seem to get that behavior to transfer to the secondary taskbar. I've opened several windows and none of them will group. When I change the setting to Enabled, they group, but they always group. Is there a way to maintain the "Combine when taskbar is full" behavior into the additional taskbars? I'm currently looking for an alternative to Ultramon and this feature is something I'd really like to have.
[reading screen] "To Start Press Any Key". Where's the ANY key? I see Esk ["ESC"], Catarl ["CTRL"], and Pig-Up [";PGUP"]. There doesn't seem to be any ANY key. Woo! All this computer hacking is making me thirsty. I think I'll order a TAB. [presses TAB key]

We haven't actually implemented the "Combine when full" behaviour yet (it's harder than it sounds :)), but we're planning to in a future version. I'll be sure to post an update here when we do.

Thanks!
