I seem to have a compatibility issue between DisplayFusion and another piece of software, Inbit FullShot 9.

FullShot adds additional title bar buttons to take screenshots. I expected there was potential for incompatibility, since DisplayFusion also adds titlebar buttons, so I was sure to disable the title bar buttons and middle-click window management features in order to avoid issues.

The problem I am facing is that the buttons from FullShot appear to receive the Hover event, but don't receive the Click event when DisplayFusion is running. If I exit DisplayFusion, then FullShot works as expected.

Are there any additional settings I might be able to disable to get this working again? If I recall correctly, I didn't have any issues with 5.0.1, but 5.1.0 does have this problem.

Thank you,

Matt

If you disable the options in Settings > Window Management > Mouse Management, does that make any difference at all?

Kieth,

When I disable those settings, everything works just fine. However that means I have to disable two features that I would love to use: Allow the mouse wheel to scroll windows under the mouse cursor that aren't focused, and Prevent mouse cursor from snagging on unaligned monitor edges. It looks like when any of the options under this section are checked, I have the issue where the other title bar buttons won't register clicks.

Is there anything I can do or any information I might be able to provide to assist any development that might take place to resolve this issue?

Ok, could you try enabling them again, and then restart FullShot afterwards (so that it starts up after DisplayFusion) and see if that works? If so, I know what the issue is :)

Way to go! That did the trick. As I'm sure you could guess, I have both DisplayFusion and FullShot start on boot, so I don't have a lot of control over which one Windows picks to run first. Any tips for me to get better control over that so that I can keep it working?

Glad to hear that worked! The issue then, is that the FullShot mouse hooks run at a lower integrity level than the DF mouse hooks. Some customers have used the following program to control the order of startup, and it looks like there's a free version: http://www.r2.com.au/page/products/show/startup-delayer/

Hope that helps!
